Homosexuality & Proposition 8

I just wanted to say a few things on the subject...
First, if everyone were homosexual, the human race would cease to exist. You can't have kids...
Second, do i really need to have a second comment? I think the first one summed it up nicely.
Honestly i like homosexuals for the most part. I just personally think that being gay or lesbian should be about the relationship, and should stay at that. But making it legal to get married just causes lots of complications... like how when it becomes legal in a state, that state then has to teach kids that it's okay to be homosexual, and that it's a good thing. I don't want that for my kids. In fact I'm sure that there are some homosexuals out there that would want to have kids of their own, and would want there kids to grow up being straight.

So we're in hawaii, and have been here since monday the 12th. it's probably the coolest place we've ever been. the weather is the best. it's like perfect weather 24/7. even at night it doesn't get too cold. it's just like a cooler version of the day time. i love it. so we're staying at this hotel in waikiki called the sand villa hotel. it's like the equivalent to a fairfield or hampton inn. so rachael and i have been buying cool things here in hawaii over the past week, so there should be some pictures up. oh yeah and we're getting tan. yay! ha ha. but anyways, that's all for now, be back in utah tuesday morning :( ....

Day Fight/Night Date, Baby Mama..

so today was kind of a tough day for rachael and i. we got in a dumb fight that lasted a few hours long. but then i drove down to her house and picked her up and took her on a little date to make up. it was a good date. we went to macaroni grill but the wait time was like 40 minutes, which was too long cause we were going to see "Baby Mama" at 9:35. so we went to costa vida instead. i had a steak burrito and she had a pork salad. it was the first time she had ever tried there pork. i told her she had to try it at least once. so she did, and she loved it. ha ha, how ironic. cause earlier she was telling me that she hated pork. she's cute like that sometimes. just like when she told me she hated minestrone soup, but when i made her try the bear creek kind instead of some homemade kind, she loved that too. so anyways, after dinner we went and saw "Baby Mama" which was awesome.if you haven't seen it, we highly recommend it. it was hilarious, and surprisingly no nudity or any super crude jokes. it was pretty darn good. so yeah. after the movie we went and got slurpees from 7-11 on the way home. oh yeah, and the lady at the 7-11 was crazy! she talked to us for a second and rachael and her got on the subject of her dad being a goldsmith cause the lady saw a ring of rachael's and the lady was like, well atleast your dad is alive.... and we were like uh.. okay see ya. ha ha. she just didn't seem like she was all the way there to me. oh well. that was what happened today. peace.

New Car for Taylor & Rachael

so we just got a car this week. it's a white toyota corolla. with tinted windows, power everything, and a sick mp3 cd player. so we're pretty stoked. well i know i am, i just love it. oh yeah and we also got an apartment lined up, it's way chill and secluded in a little mountainous area of provo. so yeah, that's where we'll be till who knows when. forever... peace.

Friday Night Dota till 5:00 AM

so tonight i played dota from 1:00 am till 5:00 am. pathetic i know. but that's what i do on friday nights after 1:00 am, cause that's when curfew is up here in gay rexburg. so anyways, tonight(28th) was preston and corine's wedding reception and tomorrow(29th) is when they're getting married. tomorrow/today(29th) is now rachael's 20th birthday! sweet. i haven't figured out what we're gonna do for her birthday, but hopefully it will be a good one for her. i love her. so just in case you're wondering what dota is.... it's a custom game on battle.net for warcraft 3. it is a 5 vs 5 game with heros. it's really fun and really addicting too. rachael even plays it. she's cute. well i think i'm gonna go to bed now. peace.

Skate Day

so yesterday was the first real skate day that i've had in almost a year. i went to sandy skatepark with seth, jake, and joe. it was pretty fun. seth broke my previous skateboard while i was in rexburg, so i had to go buy a new one, i was pretty pissed. but anyways, it was a good day. i crooked grinded down a 10 foot long ledge. it was sweet. jake, seth and i, then went and hung out at my house for a bit, and then went and got some cafe rio. that night i played dota with joe. tomorrow is easter. i want to skate today, but i think i'm a little too sore. lame. i love rachael.

Lazy Saturday, with Dan in Real Life

so today was saturday and i didn't feel like doing anything, so rachael and i stayed at my house all day and never left. i never even got fully dressed. in fact i stayed in the sweat pants from our sweat pants party the day before. rachael and i watched tv, ate food, played some video games, and watched dan in real life. it was a good day, and dan in real life was a good movie, although i do think the girl that dan falls in love with was a real whore. she should have never given dan her phone number in the first place, or even flirted with him, cause she was with dane cook already. anyways, i think she's a whore.

My First Blog: Sweat Pants Party

so this is my first blog, i don't know if i'll keep writing blogs or not. i'm just checking it out for fun i guess. well anyways, my name is Taylor, and i'm getting married on may 10th, 2008 to a lovely girl named Rachael. tonight we had a sweat pants party, cause we bought sweats from kmart for a $1.75. it was fun. whelp, i think this is all i will say for now. peace.

Valentine's Day Engagement

this is what happened on valentine's day with rachael and i...
after i got out of class i went and bought a dozen roses and took them to rachael. i think we ate valentine's candy for lunch. we then went and got reservations and thai restaraunt called original thai. we then went and saw the movie "jumper" around 4pm. the movie was pretty good, i thought they could have made the movie longer. after the movie we went and ate at the restaraunt. we saw the mccoys from my provo ward there. that was super random. after we ate, we walked back to my house. i had the sketch book with the ring in it the whole time. cause i didn't know when i was gonna propose. it was awkward having the book in my jacket the whole time, cause i had to hold it in my armpit basically cause there wasn't a pocket big enough. so we were walking home and i was thinking about proposing then, cause i didn't know if i wanted to at my house, cause i knew all my roomates would be there. but i ended up waiting till we got to my house. and i told her to come to my room cause i had a valentine's present for her. so we sat on my bad and i pulled out the sketchbook with the red ribbon on it. she was excited that i got her a sketchbook. she took the ribbon off.. then i said, " here i wrote you a poem in it. so i opened the sketchbook and was looking at the poem. i was nervous to read it to her, i told her that i was a little embarassed to read the poem. she said that she would read it. so i told her to read it out loud and i would hold my hand over the words so that she couldn't read ahead. so she read the first line of the poem and started crying and couldn't finish it. so she made me read it. so i held the book and faced towards her and read the poem aloud. then i turned the page and asked her to marry me, showing the ring in the heart cut-out hole in the book. the end. then we hugged and kissed, and then went and drank sparkling cider that she had bought for us, then we took some pictures. it was awesome.
